Unissued Regular and Air Post Commemoratives
Marking Yemen's Admission to the United Nations

On September 30, 1947, Yemen was admitted to the United Nations. Shortly afterwards (in 1948?), the event was commemorated on sets of ten regular issue commemorative stamps, five airmail stamps and five postage due stamps (which are not depicted here). Although some philatelic covers exist, the stamps were not issued for regular domestic use in Yemen.
