South Africa
In an effort to save paper during the war, South Africa issued miniature stamps known as "bantams" using the same designs as the 1941-1942 war effort definitives. Two interesting features of these stamps are the combination of conventional and roulette perforations and the use of bilingual pairs (English and Afrikaans in several of the denominations.
