Tollur Revenue Cancellation
Tollur Revenue Cancellation on King Christian X One Krona Definitive of 1931-1933
Tollur cancellations were used to cancel postage stamps that were used to pay customs or import duties and taxes. The word Tollur translates imperfectly as "customs" or "duty". Such revenue uses are more common on higher denomination stamps such as this King Christian X One Krona Definitive of 1931-1933. These cancellations were used at all post offices and customs collecting stations in port towns.
