Trees Issue of 1967 with Bark Bound Commemorative Booklet
Set of five stamps commemorating the riches of the forest with a booklet cover printed on tree bark.
On December 5, 1967, the African Republic of Gabon issued a set of five stamps celebrating its forest wealth. The five franc pictured the Draconia fragrans, the ten franc the Pycnanthus angolensis, the twenty franc the Disthmonanthus benthamianus, the fifty franc airmail the Baillonella toxisperma and the one hundred franc airmail the Aucoumea klaineana. This set was sold in a commemorative booklet with a cover printed on tree bark.
